Congratulations to Tatum Fritz, Child’s Voice Early Intervention Specialist! Tatum was honored by the Alexander Graham Bell Academy for Listening and Spoken Language with the Doreen Pollack Scholarship at their Symposium held in July 2017.
Tatum serves as an Early Intervention Specialist for Child’s Voice Chicago, offering both Home-Based therapy and supporting our Baby Voices and Toddler Groups at the site in Roscoe Village.
“We are fortunate to have Tatum’s excitement and talent on our team. She is able to apply the knowledge gained in workshops and through her certification process directly to the therapy she is providing the families at Child’s Voice.”
The Doreen Pollack Scholarship supports a professional as they pursue their Listening and Spoken Language Specialist (LSLS™). Like the LSLS examination, the eligibility requirements are rigorous and showcase Tatum’s dedication to serving children with hearing loss and their families.
“Tatum is an asset to Child’s Voice, but even more so to the children and families she serves,” Dr. Michele Wilkins, Child’s Voice Executive Director stated. “To receive the scholarship in the name of Doreen Pollack is significant. Doreen Pollack was a pioneer in the standards of excellence in listening and spoken language. It is an honor for Tatum to be considered in the same realm as Doreen. Tatum may well be our next trail-blazer.”
