Ms. Robyn Cox, our PI Discovery Center Teacher, was recently diagnosed with advanced breast cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy on a weekly basis. When Robyn first told me about her diagnosis, I immediately started thinking of ways in which our staff could support Robyn in her courageous fight. After tossing around several ideas with the staff, we thought wearing “Superhero” t-shirts was the most appropriate, considering the superheroes we touch on a daily basis.
Our staff has been wearing our Robyn shirts on the days she receives her chemo treatments. You may have seen pictures on our social media sites! Robyn has a large circle of friends and family rallying behind her. We have heard from other friends and families that they would also like to join us and purchase t-shirts in support of Robyn. If you would like to join Robyn’s “army”, please Click Here to print an order form and return it to us. Shipping charges are dependent on the number of shirts ordered, but we are hopeful we will be able to put $5.00 from every shirt ordered towards the purchase of gift cards, meals or other needs Robyn may have during her recovery.
On behalf of Child’s Voice and Robyn, I thank you.
