What an exciting time of year! School is back in full swing. Early Intervention infants, toddlers and parents are busy in lessons. Dr. Dawn and Dr. Megan are busy in the Audiology Center. All the students are here, “bright-eyed and bushy-tailed,” ready and eager to learn!
One reason Child’s Voice is so successful is we have a plan AND all of us—you included—work the plan. A Strategic Plan. Child’s Voice has worked from a Strategic Plan since 2000. We are now in the process of creating our 2016-2018 plan now. By now, all our parents, alumni parents and many supporters and friends have received a request to complete a survey. PLEASE, PLEASE take a moment and do so. Your input is extremely valuable. It will help us develop objectives, goals and strategies to achieve each year over the next three years.
Some of you will also receive a phone call from our strategic planning consultant, Jennifer Sweeney, to give in depth detail about your experiences with Child’s Voice. Please answer your phone! From the survey and phone calls, Jennifer will analyze the results and outline our SWOT: strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. From here, we determine what we can control and what we want to accomplish. The goals, objectives and activities to be performed (and by whom) will be designed.
The Board of Directors are fully committed to the success of Child’s Voice. The strategic planning committee of the Board will hold a retreat to determine our future from all the information that was collected.
This process is not fast nor easy. According to our timeline we should have a new plan to present to you all by the first of the year. Then the real fun begins, WORKING THE PLAN.
Thank you so very much for all that you do for Child’s Voice, for our students, families, and staff. Thank you for knowing we offer life changing experiences and the importance of keeping our doors open for others in to need to attend. You are being called to action!
Please give us your input…we want to hear from you!
