Returning to Child’s Voice

HaleySQ2015Alumni Success

During the week of December 14th, Child’s Voice had two of our own alumni return for a quick visit. Haley proudly displayed her school’s pennant and she even joined us a few times throughout the week to help out in the School Program. Mitch also came back to see the Winter Festival rehearsal and to help out throughout the building. Thank you Mitch & Haley!

We are thrilled that our graduates return. We often say, “You’ll be hearing from us.” This is never truer than when we refer to our students and graduates. We know they will achieve amazing things and we are grateful to all our alumni families that keep in touch.

The Audiology Center has many students that continue to receive audiological care after their transition to their neighborhood school programs. Many graduates keep in touch to share updates on successes and their educational track.

Some graduates return on their breaks to volunteer with Child’s Voice students. When a current student gets to work with a graduate, fantastic things occur. That student is able to see a living example of what they can achieve. An older student (a grown-up to that student) that looks like them, that wears a hearing aid or cochlear implant. This type of modeling is wonderful for our students.

To all our college age alumni – please send us your pennant. We are working a special project to showcase your successes! Please mail it to Child’s Voice at 180 Hansen Court, Wood Dale, IL 60191 or if you can, please drop it off on your next break. We love to see you. And we truly want to hear from you!
